Available Lessons and Rentals

This page is updated weekly (theoretically:)).  Latest update: 11/12/18

 Lesson availability:

My fall teaching schedule for 2018 is: Wednesdays, 11:45am to 8pm; Thursdays, 2pm to 6:30pm; and Fridays, 10am to 5:30pm

While I can sometimes schedule individual lessons on non-teaching days, these are the only days and times that I have available for recurring lessons.

As of the last time this page was updated, I have the following lesson spots open:

Wednesdays, 12:30pm every other week, lesson length flexible

Wednesdays, 1:15pm, (45 minutes), weekly

Wednesdays, 6pm, 30 minutes, every other week.

Fridays, 12:00pm, 45 minutes every other week.

Fridays, 3:15-3:30pm, 45-30 minutes weekly OR every other week.

My schedule changes on a weekly basis, so if none of these times work for you, but you are interested in harp lessons, you have a couple of options:

Feel free to email me with lesson times that would work well for if you'd like to be on my wait-list.  Students on the wait-list can often start lessons right away; since I have cancellations every week, I can frequently plug wait-listed students into whichever times work best for their schedule on a week-by-week basis.  You would then have first dibs on any recurring times that become available.

If you'd rather not be on my wait-list, you're also most welcome to email me for referrals for other harp teachers in the area.  Just let me know what part of town you live in, what your skill level on the harp is, and what kind of music you wish to explore, and I'd be happy to give you some contacts.

 Harp Rental Availability:

I currently have the following rental in stock:

36 string "Infinity" by Heartland. Very lightweight (8 lbs) carbon fiber harp with full Truitt sharping levers and fluorocarbon strings. Concert spacing and tension and and warm tone. Rents to Elizabeth's students only for $65/month.  (Most rentals I will rent out to other teachers' students, but this one I like to keep closer tabs on.)

Please note: harps rent on a month to month basis and 30 days notice is required for rental returns. Renters must be 18 or over, have Oregon ID, and be able to provide references from an established harp teacher, OR be in my lesson program. All harps come with cases and tuning keys.

Feel free to shoot me an email if you wish to be my wait-list for a rental.  When possible, I generally give first priority for rentals to my own students.  I can also usually find a rental for my students even when I don't have anything available, so do feel free to get in touch.

All of my rentals are listed below, so if you'd like to be wait-listed for a specific harp, please let me know:
